Aggressive Hydraulics recently supported five teams from Hamilton Heights Middle School in Arcadia, Indiana at the 15th Annual VEX Robotics World Championships in Dallas, Texas.

Twenty-seven middle school boys and girls (plus families) made the trip from Indiana to Dallas for this massive two-day event. They joined 800 other teams from 40 countries to compete for the world title.

VEX IQ Competitions team students together to design, build and compete with robots in game-based engineering challenges. Beyond science & engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving among groups. Students with programming and automation skills will be able to use their computational thinking skills to succeed in today’s workforce and in everyday life.

Congratulations to team 214. Four of five teams made it to the division finals, and team A was awarded the Sportsmanship Award.
